ABOUT THE CLUB

South Leeds City Girls Football Club was founded in 2007 by a group of local people who wanted a safe, fun and secure environment for girls to play football.
South Leeds City Girls FC is a FA Charter Standard Football Club.
We have also been working closely with the West Riding County FA to produce more teams for different ages by creating after school clubs at different primary schools in the South Leeds area.
All our staff and coaches are CRB checked and coaches are at least trained to Level 1 standard.
Training takes place every Saturday morning starting at 10.00 until 11.30.
We play our football at John Charles Centre for Sport in the Beeston area of Leeds.

Would moving kids' football to a summer game help improve the development of young footballers?
Yes - better pitches mean a better chance to develop technique/skills
No - wouldn't make any real difference to development
Maybe - but I'd be worried about more injuries on firm pitches
